This was the most trying week so far. Cold/ wet weather, atypical of
Central Oregon, made staying warm and well-rested a top priority. As
the cook, I was glad to bring coffee and cocoa to the campers and
didn’t mind a crowd hanging out in the kitchen. When the Research ROV
broke down, I was lucky enough to get a break from the kitchen; Carrie
and I ran down to La Pine and found LBCC alumni to do some quick metal
work. Thanks Laurence of Specialty Welding! As always it was fun to
get to know the campers. Special thanks to the staff for working well
together and rising to the challenge of a more difficult week.
